About WellBeing Insurance

Wellbeing Insurance has been through a few incarnations since being incorporated in 1985.  Davis Insurance Services Ltd emerged from the Strand Group in Camberley where it had functioned primarily as its Motor Insurance department.

When our current Managing Director joined the company in 1992, closer links were re-established with Strand Insurance Brokers Ltd, Strand (Life & Pensions) Ltd and Newcombe & Banks Ltd and the company was re-named DSC-Strand Ltd t/as DSC Insurance Services (D because of Davis and SC for Symonds of Camberley, where it all began with the late Michael Newcombe and Jim Banks back in the 1960s).

With the other companies coming to the end of their trading cycles as their Directors retired, DSC-Strand Ltd changed focus but continued to grow from strength to strength.  Now trading as Wellbeing Insurance the name better reflects the nature of our work and client base.

About our Managing Director

Nigel - Wellbeing insurance

Nigel Wissett-Warner has worked in the insurance industry for well over 40 years.  He has held long associations with different aspects of health and fitness and married his favourite yoga teacher in 1981.  It wasn’t so much a natural progression to combine insurance and yoga but rather an extremely complicated one.  However, once achieved, the direction of the business over time changed and its growth into other related and ancillary areas did then become inevitable.

While remaining at the head of the business, day to day Nigel’s loyal staff have now become its face.  Several of the current team have been at Wellbeing Insurance for many years and its continuing success owes much to them all.  Longstanding relationships in business are always important in people-focussed professions.

When not working, Nigel loves rambling around the countryside where he lives on the edge of the New Forest, enjoying bird watching and walking the family dog/s.  He is a keen choral singer singing tenor both with the Ashton Singers in Winchester and as one of the regular gentlemen of the choir at Romsey Abbey.
